About ShivShakti Social Foundation

Shivshakti Social Foundation was a registered, voluntary initiative of a group of social concerned activists and academics with a vision of achieving total liberation and comprehensive empowerment of Farmers by adopting multigrain strategies. Shivshakti Social Foundation was a registered under Society Registration Act, 1860 at Charity Commissioner Office Sangli. And its registration number is MAHARSHTRA/ 372/2013 dated 29/05/2013 Shivshakti Social Foundation is committed to develop human potential and the community in the areas of social, economic cultural and self-governance, addressing the livelihood issues and the rights of people, the target community, women, children, Youths, disabled persons and the other unorganized. Shivshakti Social Foundation is working in Sangli District. We work on 11 core pillars that are Nationalism, Cast Discrimination Eradication, Agriculture, rural development, Environment, Education, Health, Sports, Art and Culture, Women Empowerment, Youth Development. .

Core Strategies

1. Strengthening the members and the Rural SHG, Youth Clubs and Local Development Federation through livelihood programmers.

2. Building volunteers and staff capacities and perspectives to the centralized training programmers.

3. Information and communication by documenting and mutual sharing with community.

4. Networking and campaigning on the thrust areas of the organization for the people’s rights

5. Advocating and alliance building for proper governance and influencing policies laws and implementing them through collective action.
6. Empowering farmers by arranging various activities in agriculture sector.
